My unique strengths:

human skills - relationship-builder & nurterer; I aim to understand others’ perspectives, contexts, and worldviews; I try to learn who people are and why. I’m a skilled inquirer and listener, enabling me to perceive things others don’t. I believe these skills - what we’ve traditionally called “soft skills” - are the meaningful skills for leaders to develop within 21st century work organizations.

creative & divergent thinking - I view question-asking as a superpower. I can sense, define, reframe, and solve problems.. I have a knack for generating new ideas that either solve problems or create new capabiltiies. I look at situations from a variety of angles and perspectives. I embrace ideas from others and encourage others to share ideas.

growth-minded / learner - I have an insatiable curiosity and recognize I’ve only ever scratched the surface. I’m especially motivated by the pursuit of new knowledge and realizations. I also believe It’s mission-critical for teams to (1) learn quickly, (2) systematically share that intelligence across teams and (3) emphasize individual reflection & development. Being a learner is increasingly more important than being a “knower”.

disarming - I possess a positive, open, and playful mindset. I take my work but not myself seriously. Or, in other words, I bring a sincerety to my work, but not a seriousness. I embrace the fun of work and view levity as a super-power to connection-building and problem-solving. I’m skilled at creating space for people to be their best selves and do their best work. I’m skilled at diffusing and, more crucially, harnessing conflict.
